At BumoBrain, we offer monthly subscriptions ( “Subscription”). Please review these BumoBrain subscription terms carefully and make sure you understand them before enrolling because they contain important and relevant information regarding any subscription you may purchase, including renewal and cancellation terms. Subscriptions are continuous and automatically renew unless you cancel your subscription or we otherwise terminate your account.

By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the terms below, as well as our Terms of Service and Sale (“Terms”).

BumoBrain On-Demand Subscription

1. BumoBrain On-Demand Subscription

If you choose a BumoBrain On-Demand Subscription, you will have unlimited access to the BumoBrain On-Demand platform and all of its lessons and videos pertinent to your child’s age cohort. You will also be eligible for Members-Only sales events, special offers and discounts from great educational and children’s brands, and more.

Your BumoBrain On-Demand monthly subscription will automatically renew on the anniversary of your initial billing date and, unless you cancel your subscription in accordance with these Subscription Terms (in particular, see “BumoBrain On-Demand Subscription Cancellation Policy” below), your payment method on file will be automatically charged each month.

2. BumoBrain On-Demand Subscription Cancellation Policy 

You may cancel your BumoBrain On-Demand Subscription at any time, subject to the time frames below. In order to cancel your subscription, you must do one of the following: (a) log into your BumoBrain On-Demand account, click on ‘Account’, select ‘Memberships’, select your BumoBrain On-Demand program, and hit ‘Cancel Membership’; OR (b) email concierge@bumoparent.com, indicate that you wish to cancel your BumoBrain On-Demand Subscription, and follow the instructions; OR (c) text us at +1 310-947-8491, indicate that you wish to cancel your BumoBrain On-Demand Subscription, and follow the instructions.

Cancellations must be effected prior to the billing date of the subscription renewal. Cancelling your subscription does not provide you a refund for subscription payments already processed, nor does it stop a pending charge. Once your cancellation has been confirmed, you will have access to your subscription until the end of that current billing period. Your cancellation will go into effect for the following billing cycle. There are no cancellation fees.

BumoBrain Live Classes

1. BumoBrain Live Classes Subscription

If you choose a BumoBrain Live Classes subscription, your subscription will provide you with access to a specific number of classes each month per your plan. Class credits do not rollover to the next billing cycle if they are not used.

Your BumoBrain Live Classes monthly subscription will renew on the anniversary of your initial billing date and, unless you cancel your subscription in accordance with these Subscription Terms (in particular, see “BumoBrain Live Classes Subscription Cancellation Policy” below), your payment method on file will be automatically charged each month.

2. BumoBrain Live Classes Subscription Plan Modification

If you choose to upgrade your BumoBrain Live Classes subscription, the difference in class credits will be added to your account immediately and your payment method on file will be automatically charged a pro-rated amount based on the number of days remaining in your current billing cycle. Your account will be charged for the full cost of the new upgraded plan starting with the following billing cycle and your account will reflect the modified plan subscription. For example, if you upgraded from the Learner Plan (7 classes per month; $99 per month) to the Scholar Plan (11 classes per month; $149 per month) 10 days before the end of of your billing cycle, 4 class credits will be added to your account and you will be charged 10 days worth of the $50 difference.

If you choose to downgrade your BumoBrain Live Classes subscription, your account will remain the same (no change to class credits, no refunds for the difference in plan costs) for the current billing cycle. Your account will be charged for the cost of the new downgraded plan starting with the following billing cycle and your account will reflect the modified plan subscription.

You may upgrade or downgrade your BumoBrain Live Classes subscription with us at any time. In order to upgrade or downgrade your subscription, you must do one of the following: (a) email concierge@bumoparent.com, indicate that you wish to upgrade or downgrade your BumoBrain Live Classes subscription, and follow the instructions; OR (b) text us at +1 310-947-8491, indicate that you wish to upgrade or downgrade your BumoBrain Live Classes subscription, and follow the instructions.

3. BumoBrain Live Classes – No-Show / Makeup Class Policy

Starting February 1, 2021, BumoBrain does not allow makeup classes for any live online classes. Since BumoBrain Live Classes are designed to have no more than eight students per class, missed classes will not be eligible for a refund or for the class credit to be returned back into your monthly allotment of classes.

4. BumoBrain Live Classes – Class Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations for booked BumoBrain Live Classes must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class. Only for such proper cancellations, the class credit for the cancelled class will be returned back into your monthly allotment of classes. If you want to switch classes, you must cancel the original class at least 24 hours prior to the start time and book a new class with the returned class credit.

5. BumoBrain Live Classes Subscription Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your BumoBrain Live Classes subscription with us at any time, subject to the time frames below. In order to cancel your subscription, you must do one of the following: (a) refer to your subscription payment confirmation email and click “Cancel/Change Subscription”; OR (b) email concierge@bumoparent.com, indicate that you wish to cancel your BumoBrain Live Classes subscription, and follow the instructions; OR (c) text us at +1 310-947-8491, indicate that you wish to cancel your BumoBrain Live Classes subscription, and follow the instructions.

If you cancel your BumoBrain Live Classes subscription but still have remaining single-use class credits that were purchased in addition to the monthly class credits included in your subscription plan, they will remain valid for use in your account without expiration.

BumoBrain Foreign Language Program

1. BumoBrain Foreign Language Program Subscription

Your BumoBrain Foreign Language Program monthly subscription will automatically renew on the anniversary of your initial billing date and, unless you cancel your subscription in accordance with these Subscription Terms (in particular, see “BumoBrain Foreign Language Program Cancellation Policy” below), your payment method on file will be automatically charged each month.

3. BumoBrain Foreign Language Program Course Cancellation Policy

Your BumoBrain Foreign Language Course is not eligible for a refund upon cancellation. If you wish to change the class time you are enrolled in, you must do one of the following: (a) email concierge@bumoparent.com, indicate that you wish to change your BumoBrain Foreign Language class time; OR (b) text us at +1 310-947-8491, indicate that you wish to change your BumoBrain Foreign Language class time.

4. BumoBrain Foreign Language Program Classes

BumoBrain does not allow makeup classes for any foreign language classes. Missed classes will not be eligible for a refund or for class credit.

Photography and Video Permission, Name, and Likeness Release

All of BumoBrain’s live lessons with a student, whether in a group or one-on-one setting, may be video and audio recorded for quality and safety assurances. BumoBrain may also photograph and/or take “screenshots” of students, and their families, participating in the Program. Before such photographs and/or videos may be shared with other families enrolled in BumoBrain in a variety of ways (on the BumoBrain website, on a BumoBrain newsletter, on emails to other students enrolled in BumoBrain and/or their families, on any social media platform owned and/or maintained by BumoBrain, its affiliates, successors and assigns, among others), BumoBrain will contact the parent for permission to use. Any such approved photographs, images, audio and/or video recordings of students (“Materials”) may be used to better communicate with other students and families enrolled in BumoBrain, to illustrate the curriculum of any BumoBrain programs or to document other activities. These Materials may also be used for general marketing purposes of Bumo, its affiliates, successors and assigns.

BumoBrain retains all rights, title and interest in the Materials and may use and disseminate them, at its sole discretion, in a variety of ways, without any notice to you and/or Student.

• I hereby give permission for BumoBrain, its affiliates, successors and assigns to take and record photographs, images, audio and/or videos of my child (“Materials”) and to use such Materials as described above.

• I hereby irrevocably grant to BumoBrain, its affiliates, successors and assigns, the right to distribute, transmit, publish, copy, or otherwise exploit, either in whole or in part, either digitally or in any other medium now known or later discovered, the Materials. I understand and agree that the Materials may be used without identifying me and/or my child as their subject.

• I release and discharge BumoBrain, its agents, representatives, and assignees from any claim or cause of action, now known or later discovered, for, among other things, invasion of privacy and right of publicity.

Taxes and Shipping and Handling

Stated prices for subscription and other products do not include any customs, duties, sales, use, value-added, excise, federal, state, local or other taxes. You are solely responsible for the payment of such taxes related to your purchase. We have the right to charge you for any taxes that we believe we are required to pay or collect related to your purchase. Please also note that shipping and handling fees currently apply to all shipments outside the contiguous united States.

Data Transfers

As stated in our Privacy Policy, we may transfer your billing information to our third-party payment processors, other service providers, and certain trusted third parties.
