Top Questions

  • Visit https://bumobrain.com/live-classes to browse classes available to your child’s age cohort. Select the class and set your time zone. Then you can select which date(s) and time(s) you would like to book that class. Fill in your information, and if you have a subscription, you can select the “Your Subscription Code” button and enter the email address you used for your BumoBrain subscription to deduct from your plan and click “Apply”. If you do not have a subscription, you can simply select the “Pay Now” button.

  • As of December 29, 2021, there is no longer a dashboard to view your booked classes. You will receive class confirmation emails as well class reminder emails that will include the appropriate links to access the classes you had booked.   • Our Live Online Classes is a monthly subscription and On-Demand Learning has month-to-month or annual subscription options. You will be automatically charged for each month unless your program is canceled per our cancellation policy. The day you purchase the program is the recurring date that you will be charged (e.g., if you purchase the BumoBrain Learning Program on October 3rd, you will be charged on November 3rd and so forth).

    The Foreign Language Program can be purchased by 6-week sessions.

  • Currently, we offer our Scholarship and Tuition Assistance Program to families. You can submit a scholarship application, and our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

  • We don’t currently offer free trials of our Live Online Classes or Foreign Language Program.

  • Our On-Demand Learning is a monthly or annual subscription where we deliver 12 age-specific lessons and unplugged activities per week that your child can do at home. It also comes with easy-to-follow instructional videos paired with each activity and worksheet. (Does NOT include live instruction by a teacher).

    Our Live Online Classes is a monthly subscription to book from 100+ live instruction classes that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and exploration. Each 30-minute class has a maximum of 8 students and is taught on Zoom with a fun, interactive, and engaging teacher.

  • There will always be a review at the beginning of each class if needed, and because our classes introduce a new concept each week, they can be considered “stand-alone” lessons.

  • No. Each class subject is designed to teach the same material for the week. Our classes are offered at different times each week in order to accommodate the different schedules of our families from all over the world.

Live Online Classes

(2-6 years old)

  • BumoBrain Live Online Classes is a monthly subscription that provides access to 100+ live instruction classes that offers an engaging and interactive learning setting to encourage creativity, citical thinking, and exploration. Each 30-minute class has a maximum of 8 students and is taught on Zoom with a fun, interactive, and engaging teacher. You can schedule classes whenever it fits your schedule!   • Our Live Classes utilize materials for a variety of activities that help with motor skills development, engagement with the lesson, and hands-on learning. If your Live Online Class requires materials, they will be listed under the booking page and included in your confirmation email.

  • Cancellations for booked BumoBrain Live Classes must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class. Only for such proper cancellations will the class credit for the cancelled class be returned back into your monthly allotment of classes. If you want to switch classes, you must cancel the original class at least 24 hours prior to the start time and book a new class with the returned class credit. Starting February 1, 2021, BumoBrain does not allow make-up classes for any live online classes. Since BumoBrain Live Classes are designed to have no more than eight (8) students per class, missed classes will not be eligible for a refund or for the class credit to be returned back into your monthly allotment of classes.

  • Yes! Each kiddo would need a spot in the class, so you would need 1 booking per child. :)

    All of our classes have a maximum capacity of eight (8) students to promote small-group learning and student-teacher engagement. Because of this, we are not able to have multiple kids participate under one class enrollment.

  • Currently, there are four (4) subscription plans available for our Live Online Classes. The Basic Plan is a monthly subscription for $49/month that gives access to three (3) live class per month. The Learner Plan is $99/month that gives access to seven (7) live classes per month. The Scholar Plan is $149/month that gives access to eleven (11) live classes per month. The Brainiac Plan is $299/month that gives access to twenty-five (25) live classes per month.   • Cancellations for booked BumoBrain Live Classes must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class.   • Yes, video and audio are recorded during classes but only for quality and safety assurances. They are never released for public use in order to ensure student and family privacy.

  • In the event that your teacher is unable to teach your class, another one of our amazing BumoTeachers will substitute for your class! :)

On-Demand Learning

(2-6 years old)

  • Our On-Demand Learning is a monthly subscription where we deliver 12 age-specific lessons and unplugged craft activities per week that your child can do at home. It also comes with easy-to-follow instructional videos paired with each activity and worksheet. (Does NOT include live instruction by a teacher). This is best for families who want more flexibility, as it can be completed at your own time.

  • Yes! Each cohort includes age-specific activities and videos to match developmental stages but cover the same theme.

  • You will just need the daily worksheet that is included in your program, a writing utensil, and craft supplies for the arts & crafts videos.

  • They are updated weekly! Our team curates new videos and activities specific to your child's age and development for each week.

  • Our video library contains 1,000+ on-demand educational videos (STEM, Alphabet & Phonics, Music & Movement, and more!).

  • No, you will automatically have access to all the videos provided for each cohort so you can adjust to each of your child's needs.

  • You have the option of purchasing the monthly subscription for $19.95/month or the annual subscription for $149/year.

Foreign Language Program

(4-6 years old)

  • Our Foreign Language Program is focused on exposing the students to the target language and culture while practicing and developing speaking skills. The program is a 12-session course and meets twice a week for 30 minutes. Students are able to move into higher-level classes after every course.

  • We currently offer Korean, Mandarin, and Spanish.

  • If at any time you would like to purchase another language, you can go to our Foreign Language Program page and purchase an additional language.

  • All of our classes have a maximum capacity of eight (8) students to promote small-group learning and student-teacher engagement. Because of this, we are not able to have multiple kids participate under one class enrollment.

  • You can schedule 12-session courses at a time for $248 per course.

1-on-1 Tutoring

(1-12 years old)

  • We offer 30-minute one-on-one tutoring in languages ranging from Spanish, Korean, to Mandarin. Our BumoTeachers offer various fun, kid-friendly teaching methods. Each tutoring session is $38.

  • We offer 1-on-1 tutoring for Spanish, Korean, and Mandarin.

  • We recommend 2 tutoring sessions per week.

  • Our amazing BumoTeachers tailor each session to fit your child’s needs and proficiency levels.

  • Yes! To book multiple sessions, you can:

    1. Click on the subject you would like tutoring in.

    2. Set your time zone and click ‘Set Time Zone’.

    3. Choose the date and time for your first session.

    4. Click ‘Add a Time…’ OR ‘Recurring’ for all the session times you desire.

    5. Once you have set all of your sessions, you can click ‘Continue’, input your contact and payment information, and your sessions will be booked. You will then receive the confirmation emails for all of your sessions.

  • Yes! The first child would be $48 and an additional child would be $28. You can check off the ‘Additional Child (+$28)’ checkbox to do so.

Billing and Account Management

  • You may cancel your BumoBrain Live Classes subscription with us at any time, subject to the time frames below. In order to cancel your subscription, you must do one of the following: (a) refer to your subscription payment confirmation email and click “Cancel/Change Subscription”; OR (b) email concierge@bumobrain.com, indicate that you wish to cancel your BumoBrain Live Classes subscription, and follow the instructions; OR (c) text us at +1 310-947-8491, indicate that you wish to cancel your BumoBrain Live Classes subscription, and follow the instructions.

  • Cancellations must be effected prior to the billing date of the subscription renewal. Cancelling your subscription does not provide you a refund for subscription payments already processed, nor does it stop a pending charge. Once your cancellation has been confirmed, you will have access to your subscription until the end of that current billing period. Your cancellation will go into effect for the following billing cycle. There are no cancellation fees.
